So Who Forgot To Take a Decent Picture at Night?

NICE WORK If You Can Get It

"Neither just rich and good looking." said Jimmy Winter (played by Matthew Broderick). That was one of my favorite lines from the musical. I have more but I don't want to take away from your experience when you go see it.   The premise of the play?  A rich playboy gets caught up with a con woman/bootlegger during the prohibition - hijinks ensue.

So I first found about the musical when Matthew Broderick co-hosted Live with Kelly and I wanted to watch. And I knew that Matthew Broderick did Broadway shows but I did not know that he sang and I will say that he has a pleasant voice and he has great timing. Oh and there was a Dance number and he did great job on it too. Kelli O'Hara was really great as Billie (I got lucky to see her because I caught her right before she went on hiatus!).  I liked her singing voice :). I really liked Jeffrey Schecter as Cookie (I think he is an understudy for the role). Judy Kaye has an amazing voice. I liked a lot of the costumes - I really liked Billie's maid outfit and the all the girls' bonnets/hats.

Also Matthew Broderick is very nice and gracious!

Review: Cute and Enjoyable
