Paula Patton Says After Split from Robin Thicke She Became 'a Real ...

(NEW YORK) — Paula Patton and Robin Thicke are not yet officially divorced, but the actress says she’s already a changed woman since splitting from the “Blurred Lines” singer last year.

“I live in a place of gratitude and [I'm] growing up in many ways, I think. I moved from my parents’ house to moving in with Robin,” she says on Tuesday’s episode of The Meredith Vieira Show E! News. “And now I’m like becoming an adult at this old age. I’m really like a real woman now.”

The former high-school sweethearts wed in June 2005 and split in February 2014 after rumors of Thicke’s infidelity.

“You know I’m doing really well. It’s been a long year and a lot of challenges but I’ve grown quite a bit and [I'm] just getting used to change,” she explains, adding that she tries to “embrace it and just be thankful for everything I do have.”

Their divorce will be finalized on April 14. The two will share custody of their 4-year-old son Julian.
