9:21PM EST December 4. 2012 – At the top of The Voice results show Tuesday, Team Blake Shelton, Team CeeLo Green and Team Adam Levine had two players each (Christina Aguilera’s team was already eliminated). When two more players were sent home Tuesday night, was another coach out of the game?


RECAP: Monday’s performances


Of course, we couldn’t find out who was sent home until contenders and special guests performed, Carson Daly grilled the coaches and the top vote-getters advanced, one by one, to the semifinals.


To kick off the show, Ne-Yo took the stage with Amanda Brown for Let Me Love You. After Amanda out-sang Ne-Yo, and Ne-Yo out-danced Amanda, they reconciled in a sexy embrace.


Fun fact learned from Carson Daly’s interviews with the coaches: CeeLo is the only coach who pressed his button for everyone who made it to the Top 10.


Terry McDermott and Trevin Hunte joined forces for Feel Again by OneRepublic. Though they both sounded good individually, mixing their rock-and-roll and RB-flavored voices together made for a confused cross-genre tune.


Emotional moment: Terry thanking his wife for getting him through his mother’s death, and for giving birth to his beautiful son.
